The inaugural JMU Journalism Christmas Ball is set to bring students together in a festive celebration in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support next month.
Tickets are now available for the ball, which was set up by the Journalism student society, priced at £15 and the party will be held on Wednesday December 2nd at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Old Hall Street, Liverpool.
Festivities will commence at 8pm running until 1am, and the party will feature live entertainment and a DJ. The price includes a cocktail (first come, first served), with all proceeds going to Macmillan.
For the past two years, JMU Journalism has held Christmas-themed fundraising events for the cancer charity and previous totals could be broken this time round.
Organiser Nathan Archer said: “I’m really excited for the night of ball. It’s been hard work organising everything, and that hard work is still going on, but I know that it’s going to be a really special event.
“The fact that we are raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support is fantastic, and the whole team and all the guests have really got behind the cause.”
All students on our current programmes of study are invited to attend and the dress code is smart.
