Liverpool’s St Luke’s – better known as the Bombed Out Church – has fully reopened to the public once more.
Liverpool City Council is hoping to invest over £50m in the restoration of some of the city’s most at-risk historic buildings.
More than 25,000 people have signed a petition to save St Luke’s Church from being sold by the council to a private company.
A play about homelessness will be performed in one of the city’s most iconic churches, St Luke’s.
Several of Liverpool’s historical but decaying buildings have been added to the ‘Heritage at Risk’ register.
