While some consider it to be an eyesore, many see it as a form of art and creativity. That’s why a Liverpool-based studio set up the Contrast Mural Festival for artists to come and spray to their heart’s content.
The brainchild of Zap Liverpool, the street art/graffiti festival saw artists from across the country come to the city to display their work. Each artist was given a blank canvas to work with and their vibrant displays lined Great George Street near St Paul’s Cathedral.
