It was a tale of two cathedrals for the JMU Journalism Class of 2025 as they celebrated graduation day in Liverpool.
The Anglican Cathedral was the venue for the convocation ceremony, with proud family members and friends gathering beneath its towering arches to witness that long-awaited moment for graduates as they walked across the stage.
Then it was a short walk down Hope Street to the Metropolitan Cathedral for the now-traditional ‘Toast to Your success’ event, marking the end of three years of study at Liverpool John Moores University.
Head of Journalism, Fran Yeoman, said: “Graduation day is always such a proud day as it represents the culmination of so much hard work by our students – as well as by our teaching team, who always go above and beyond to give every one of them the opportunity to do their best.
“Every year our graduating students go off and do amazing things in journalism and other fields, and it is brilliant to see that community of alumni grow. I look forward to following the successes of the Class of 2025, and hope they’ll come back and see us soon.”
