JMU Journalism finished off this year’s newsdays in seasonal style as students donned fancy dress and raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Our annual charity efforts began last week with the Christmas Ball and continued at Redmonds on Monday and Tuesday, with jolly jumpers on show once more.
Cake sales, a name-the-teddy competition, and a sponsored hop by Matt Ramirez were among the highlights, all adding to the ball proceeds and contributing to another successful endeavour.
The end combined result was raising £1,197 this time round overall – the fifth year in a row that we have set a record-breaking total.
JMU Journalism will be taking a break for the holidays at the end of this week, returning in the new year to provide more news from Liverpool and beyond.
