A graduate from LJMU is celebrating after having his Liverpool-based company named as one of the top 20 digital agencies in the North of England.
Ian Finch, Managing Director and the sole remaining founder of Mando Group told JMU Journalism: “It’s nice to be recognized as a leader but it only fuels our ambition for greater success.”
The list is devised by Manchester-based publishing company, The Prolific North. Companies included in the 50 best agencies cover web companies and content delivery platforms, including mobile and ecommerce groups.
Mando Group was formed in 1997 as WebShed before changing its name two years later.
The company’s aim is to engage customers at the highest level, in order to help them grow their market share, increase customer satisfaction and reduce their costs.
Mr Finchsaid: “We are embarking on a renewed five-year plan that will see us grow internationally and at a faster rate moving forward. We are all committed to this end goal and are excited about the future.”
The digital agency, which was formed on the back of a placement year of a BSc Computer Studies course, was ranked 19th.
The table is based on a combination of the company’s financial results and other supplementary information supplied by the companies themselves.
The former LJMU student added: “The visibility and recognition are always nice and you never know who’s reading about us, but really we see it as a benchmark; if we get further enquiries then great, but our focus is in delighting our customers while aggressively delivering against our five-year plan.”
The ranking publication follows two previous recognitions by Prolific North in 2013, in the Top 50 PR Agencies and Top 50 Integrated Agencies.
