The largest reporting team in Liverpool has had another busy year, out and about in the city and beyond, covering the latest news and sport across Merseyside.
Alongside working on breaking stories, JMU Journalism’s undergraduate students have also been producing special features as part of their final year coursework.

JOURNALISM

SPORTS JOURNALISM
Matt Groom set out to unearth unusual sporting activity taking place every week around the region that, while niche, is accessible and fun. Full story >>

Kevin Bannon went behind the scenes as Marine AFC took on Guiseley in the hunt for the Northern Premier League play-offs. His audio documentary includes interviews and snippets of the coverage Kevin did as Marine’s matchday commentator. Listen to the file below:
James Cranford gained exclusive access to one of the UK’s most successful blind and visually impaired football teams, Merseyside Blind FC. His audio documentary raises awareness and highlights the benefits of being involved in football. Full story >>
