Halloween seems to get bigger every year, with more activities springing up to entertain young and old alike.
Expect town to be crammed with Halloween revellers starting from this weekend, with numerous themed events taking place in bars across the city.

It has been two years since The Halloween Lantern Carnival lit up the skies over Sefton Park, but it returns to Liverpool at a new location.
This year’s carnival will take place on Sunday October 29th in the city centre, starting from Pilgrim Street and Hardman Street then heading down towards the Albert Dock.
Ghoulish characters will take to the streets in the creepiest of costumes and there will be live entertainment, with the Movema World Dance Company looking for locals of all ages to take part.
Farmaggedon, Merseyside’s biggest horror attraction, is back for its 11th year of terror in what organisers are saying is the biggest yet.
After the success of their ‘Walking Dead’-style paintball assault course last year, they have introduced the UK’s first 3D terror room, ‘Contagion’, including 12 new zombies. The event runs throughout October between 7pm – 9pm.

Mighty Red family tours at Anfield also have a Halloween special on October 29th. Youngsters will dress up and have the chance to take part in quizzes and play scary games as they take the tour of Liverpool FC’s famous stadium.
Roy Castle’s Lung Cancer Foundation will be running a Spooky Welly Walk through Sherdley Park in St Helens. There will be festive activities, fairground rides along with numerous trick or treat stations set up along the two-mile stretch. All money raised will be donated to patients and families living with lung cancer across the UK.
Circus Music is holding its yearly Halloween party on Saturday 28th at the Camp and Furnace. For the previous four years, this event has been a sell-out and this time German techno sensation Richie Hawtin will be headlining his first time Liverpool gig.
Independent Liverpool has organised a night of fancy dress as they show The Blair Witch Project in this unique cinema at Grand Central Hall in Renshaw Street at 7pm on the big night itself, Tuesday October 31st.
