Christmas is coming early at the Liverpool Guild of Students this Friday as there will be a host of things to do and see in the courtyard and out on the street.
Throughout the day, there will be a brass band, snow machine, secret Santa, a festive film screening, Santa’s grotto, mulled wine and roasted chestnut stalls, a Christmas carvery and more.
Deputy President, Alex Ferguson, told JMU Journalism: “We will be bringing a bit of Christmas cheer early to the Guild and transforming the street into a winter wonderland.
“We’ve never done anything on such a grand scale before – we’re going to have real reindeer and everything. There’s no need to book and there will be something for everyone at what will be a very Christmassy Guild.”
Students are also still able to make a #GuildWish on Twitter up until Friday.
Ferguson said: “So far we have received over 20 wishes and granted them. Keep wishing as we will grant them until the end of the week.”
