Over a dozen local artists have opened their very own pop-up shop in Liverpool One.
One Art, a group founded by Liverpool artists Katherine Caldwell, Freida McIterick and Karen Edwards, came together in April of this year when they opened the shop up for six weeks opposite the John Lewis store.
One Art offers a service to customers unlike any other retail store, taking a non-pretentious approach to art. The store have their own artists creatively working inside giving it the same atmosphere as an art gallery.
Among the artists involved are print makers, painters, photographers, illustrators and more.
The pop-up shop recently won the Liverpool One RARA award for collaboration in August this year.
Caldwell said: “We have loved working with Liverpool ONE and we thing they’ve really liked working with us too. We are so proud of our thriving business, and thankful to Liverpool ONE for believing in a group of excitable artists.”
The pop up shop will stay on St Peter’s Lane, in Liverpool ONE, until December this year when it will relocate to attend festivals around the city for the duration of the Christmas period.
