Construction business Galliford Try has secured a £1.1m contract to refurbish the Royal Liver Building.
The ‘fast-track’ contract will be completed in 11 weeks, and will see the third and ninth floors of the iconic building stripped out and refurbished.
Dave Clarke, Head of Special Projects for Galliford Try North, said: “We are delighted to have been selected to deliver this fast track refurbishment project in what is arguably Liverpool’s most iconic building.
“Securing this contract is testament to the hard work and dedication that the Special Projects team have demonstrated over the last 12 months across the North West as we continue to deliver often complex projects safely in live environments on budget and on time to the highest quality across the region.”
Galliford Try, which has a team based in Warrington, has completed many projects across the region, including an extension for Windmill Hill Primary School and another office refurbishment for the Merseyside Probation Trust, costing £300,0000.
The Special Projects team in the North specialises in complex and expensive refurbishment projects, along with new builds in the range of £50,000 to £2m.
