The UK’s biggest fashion event outside of London gets underway in Liverpool next week.
The annual Liverpool Fashion Week is taking place in a number of venues across the city including the famous Liver Building from the 14th to the 19th of October.
The event is set to discover new local and international talent with a number of celebrity appearances also promised.
Now in its fourth year, Amanda Moss, event organiser and editor of Lifestyle Monthly Magazine, said: “We’re prepping for the event this year by constantly corresponding with the models, designers, everyone involved really.”
“This show puts Liverpool on an international map of fashion, we’ve got designers flying in from Boston, Spain and hopefully Pakistan.
“It’s not just local boutiques and designers that we accommodate for. They all then showcase their exclusive ranges and hopefully sell them to international buyers.”
The show will host a range of different nights, including Couture Glamour on the opening night, New Talent on Wednesday, Urban Hipster Friday and Scouse Pride for the closing event on Saturday night.
It is set to top the 2012 event, which managed to set a record in the amount of regional and international coverage it received, with coverage of the event as far away as India, Seattle and Canada.
Moss added: “Every year the show is different but this year, as the main catwalk shows are at the Liver Building it makes it very exclusive.
“We will also have the Lambrini bar inviting everyone to relax and have a drink. We aim to create a fantastic shopping and fashion experience.”
Tickets for the event are still available on Liverpool Fashion Week’s website.
