It’s been a tense wait since the last coursework hand-in deadlines, but the results are out and JMU Journalism’s graduating Class of 2013 can finally celebrate after receiving their degree classifications this week.
Dissertations are by now a distant memory as the Journalism and International Journalism students can look forward to their graduation ceremony at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral on Monday July 8th, starting at 10.30am.
If you are attending, remember you need to go to LJMU’s Art & Design Academy on Monday morning to collect your robe and tickets for graduation day.
After the customary photo opportunities, our graduates are then invited to a party – along with their proud parents and family members – in room 103/104 of LJMU’s Dean Walters Building, next to the cathedral entrance.
Prizes will be awarded, including the JMU Journalism Reporter of the Year title, before the final farewells for a group of students who will leave the course with as many friends as possible future contacts in the industry.
